Pinwheel Biscuits
This recipe I had seen on TV for kids special and believe me its awesome and i added a few additions to this to make it even more tastier :)... (They actually showed only with butter and sugar).
This will be a hit on kiddie parties trust me :)
Ingredients :
Marie Biscuits - 1 packet
Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
Coffee Powder - 1/4 tsp
Milk - 1/2 - 3/4 cup
Powdered Sugar - 5 tbsp
Butter - 4 tbspGrated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Coarsely grounded nuts - 15 nos
Grind the marie biscuits and sieve to get a pure powdered. If crumps are there then you will have difficult to roll out the biscuits. Once the biscuits are powdered, mix in the cocoa powder and 2 tbsp of powdered sugar. Warm milk and add in the coffe powder. Mix in slowly to make a hard dough. You can add in more milk if you need to make dough. Once dough is done, roll them out to a thick round like that you would do to amke a roti.
Beat the butter, sugar, coconut and nuts nicely. Once dough is rolled out spread the butter mix in the middle evenly leaving the corners. now roll the dough from the longer side slowly and cover up the ends. If any cracks form try to cover it up. Then cover with a aluminium foil and refrigerate for 2 hours. while serving cut into round to view a beautiful pinwheel design :)
Cheers,
Neetz ;)
