A very simple Chocolate Icecream
I had little leftover whipped cream after the black forest cake day :). I had kept in freezer thinking i did use in some or other way. After 3 days i checked to see how the whipping cream looked and when i tasted i was quite surprised that i tasted exactly like ice cream!!!... then it struck how to use the remaining and this is how i made it :)
Ingredients :
Sweetened Whipped cream - 1 cup
Semi- sweet chocolate chips - 1/4 cup
(you can use also cooking milk chocolate)
For people who have to make from scratch:
Whipping cream - (approx) 1/4-1/2 cup ( quantity should be in such way to get 1 cup whipped cream)
Vanilla Essence - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 cup (adjust accoridng to your sweetness. Reduce if you are using milk chocoalte)
Prepapration:
Melt the chocolate chips in double boiler. Leave it to cool completely. Then whip the whipping cream and whick the cream and melted chocolate together nicely and refrigerate. I didnt have to whisk again and again. I just waited it to be freezed a little and me and my little one was having our full hands on it :)..
I had garnished the icecream with chocolate shavings and whipped cream mix.
I was too excited to take the pics I didnt actually wait for the icecream to be frozen thick :(.. thats why the sort of melted version is shown in the pics.. sorry about that.. Nevertheless it was tasting awesome!
