CABBAGE PAKODA

Cabbage Pakoda

First of all SORRY guys for not being blogging around.. I m really getting tied up and nowadays coz of my busy schedule with my 6 month old princess and i keep post ponding to type new tried out recipes for each day and it has gone far :(... a little bit of social life in the loop, now i really dont get time to sit and type sometimes :(... hey none the less i will be coming back as much as i can and definitely will be keeping in contact with u all :)... plz friends..dont be upset when you dont see any comments from my side... i am checking everyones recipe and really admire how you all can really come with such beautiful recipes and idea :).... great going bloggers!!!!
There is nothing like having a good warm pakodas with hot cup of tea or coffee? isnt it?..yummmmm...The thought itself makes like "ohh how i wish i had some now"..these cabbage pakodas are very easy to make and whenever you have a left over of cabbage thinking what to do this is one easiest of all ways to use it and even to share with your friendly neighbours with a little gossip around ;)..he he he :D...

Ingredients :

Cabbage - 2 cups chopped
Besan powder - 4-5 tbsp
Rice Powder - 1.5 tbsp
Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Amchoor powder - 1/4 tsp (dry mango powder - opt)
White Pepper - one liberal pinch
Onion - 1 med chopped
Ginger - 1" chopped
Salt

Preparation :

Mix in all the powders and then add in the onion and ginger and mix with very little water. Then add in cabbage and mix properly. Add water only if you think that the powders need to get wet more to hold on to cabbage. Heat oil in a kadai and fry the batter mix of cabbage.. Strain to a tissue to absorb oil when done. Serve hot :).. Hai an easy :) :) ???

Cheers,
Neetz ;)
