MASALA PEANUTS and my 50th Post!!!

Today my baby blog is having 50 items of recipes from north to south :) :) :).. I just cant stop smiling at myself :).. Coz i never thought I will be coming this far itself in the first place. I thoguht my passion for blogging mite die soon as I usually get bored of doing something always the ssame everytime :)..but now i proved myself , Yes neethu u can do it!! and I m really proud of myself as it was actually not easy to cook and then blog everyday when u have a 5 month old baby with u.. but then its the matter of time that u make for urself that counts :) I m so thankful for all my blogger friends who kept on commenting and encouraging on my recipes without fail and thats what made me go on in one way!!..Then the thought that some one somewhere who is new to this cooking world will see my recipe one day and would be grateful that they came across such easy recipe of mine..I m not being too odest..but these things are the thoughts that kept me going and ofcourse my dearest blogger friends help :)... THANK U ALL and it really makes me happy to see each one of u commenting and suggesting to my blog updated :) :) :)..Sincerly THANK U ALL!!!!

Now for another simple snack recipe :)

Masala Peanuts

This is one of my another favourite snacks. I added curry leaves in this recipe for that authentic kerala taste :).... Its easy and can be made anytime round the clock:)

Ingredients :

Peanuts - 1 cup
Besan Powder - 2 tsp
Rice Powder - 2 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Dry Mango Powder - 2 pinch
Asofetida - a pinch
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garlic   - 2 big cloves crushed
Salt
Curry Leaves - 2 strings

Preparation:
I had raw skinless peanuts with me. So I didnt have to go through the trouble of roasting them. But in case if you dont have, roast the raw peanuts till you can easily remove the skin between your palm or fingers. Once removed. mix all the powders into peanuts and sprinkle a bit water till you get all the powders coated over the peanuts. Deep fry them in oil till you get a light brown color. Spread the peanuts on to a tissue to absorb any excess oil and then finally fry curry leaves and spread on top. You will get crispier peanuts once cold. Serve with hot tea :)

Cheers,
Neetz ;)
